Create an additional screening referral
You can create a new screening referral for a patient you've screened before.
Each screening requires a separate referral for tracking and sending to the lab.
- Search and select the patient's record from the top right search
 - Find the Patient Referrals panel
- The HOME panel view includes the Patient Referrals panel.
 - To switch panel views, select the current panel view name in the top right corner, for example, My Patient View.
 
 - Select 
 - Choose Create Referral

 - Add a Screening form

- Select Add New Document
 - Double-click the Forms folder to expand it
 - Double-click the Screening form to open it
 - Select Close Draft to add it to the referral
 
 - Add a Lab Results form
- Select Add New Document
 - Double-click the Forms folder to expand it
 - Double-click the Lab Results form to open it
 - Select Close Draft to add it to the referral
 
 - Add a Patient Information form
- If the patient's medical insurance information has not changed since the last screening, select Link Existing Document and choose the latest Patient Information form
 - If the patient's medical insurance information has changed:
- Select Add New Document
 - Double-click the Forms folder to expand it
 - Double-click the Patient Information form to open it
 - Select Close Draft to add it to the referral
 
 
 - Select Save Draft

 
Now your team has a screening referral ready for when the patient arrives.
Also, the patient can fill out the new Screening form โ and the Patient Information form if you added a new one โ by logging into their patient portal.
